HVAC Duct and System Renovation.
The duct system is a series of flexible or rigid pipes, rectangular or square shape
boxes that carries the warmed or cooled air from your air conditioning and heating
equipment into your business office, restaurant-bar, school, home or any building
and then circulates the air back to the equipment. Duct system also control how much
air is delivered to each zone, floor and room (Conditioned Space). The right amount
of air will keep the conditioned space temperatures where they need to be. If ducts
are damaged, improperly installed or the wrong size, they can reduce your system's
performance and efficiency to heat or cool by more than half-on hot or cold days-when
you need it the most. Also your HVAC system has to run longer time or continuously
to cool down or warm up your building which it cause to waste Energy and Money.
HVAC equipment and Duct system in your building or business are like a Heart and
Vanes in your body. Any restriction, leakage or damage in your duct system (VANES)
will cause a heart attack or death to your HVAC Equipment (HEART) over time.
Air moves through Ducts Like blood moves through Vanes. Air is invisible, so to determine
if your ducts work or not, air properties such as Static Pressure, Temperature (db
& wb), Air Velocity, Volume of Delivered Air and etc, must be measured. Our NCI certified
technician can measure how much air goes to each Conditioned Space ( room, zone,
floor) and compare it to how much is needed. Then all the calculated data and measurement
will be reviewed to determine how well your ducts and system work, and finally we
will review the results of the test with you.
Q: How to Improve the Duct System?
A: Duct Renovation
The typical duct renovation includes removing damaged ducts, straightening them,
adding proper suspension and sealing all the joints. Sometimes larger ducts need
to be installed to certain rooms or the registers and grilles need to be replaced.
We will review the test results with you and make recommendations for duct repairs,
replacement or additions. Other improvements might include adjusting fan speeds or
improving your air filtration system.
Some contractors will recommend sealing your ducts to improve efficiency. While
duct sealing is absolutely done as part of a renovation, sealing by itself cannot
address many of the faults in a duct system. In lots of cases, just sealing the duct
can make the problem worse, as it could choke down airflow causing equipment breakdown
& major comfort problems. In extreme cases, it has caused back-drafting of flues
leading to hazardous carbon monoxide problems.
Greater occupant comfort.
Enhance building performance.
Increase energy efficiency and lower operating costs.
Develop indoor air quality to create a healthier environment.
Extend the life of heating, air conditioning and ventilating equipment.
Air Balancing, Testing, Duct Renovation And Whole House Fan
Testing and adjusting of building air systems in a proper way will improve the equipment
operation efficiency and verify the correctness of the installation and engineer's
design. The final outcome of HVAC system adjusting is to increase comfort and reduce
energy costs. The equipment tested in this section of the process includes; HVAC
units, exhaust fans, make-up air systems, air volume control boxes, etc.
HVAC Air Balancing & Testing.
If you are worried about the efficiency your heating and air conditioning system
or comfort supplied by your HVAC system you should learn about what air diagnostics
and balancing can do for your home and business before make a major purchase of a
new heating or air conditioning system. In its simplest form, air balancing, testing
and diagnostics is the procedure of measuring, calculating, adjusting and calibrating
your air conditioning system to distribute the accurate amount of air desired to
each room and zone in your business, office and home.
Air Balancing & testing process consist of a number of related analyses that determines
the performance of your air conditioning and heating system. Our certified Air Balancing
Technician considers the whole system and is qualified to test, analyze, and repair
your ducts as well as your equipment.
Most contractors are in business to just repair or replace heating and air conditioning
Do not choose a contractor who quotes a price to fix or change out your Heating and
Air Conditioning system
without any Diagnostic and Performance Testing.
We have a wide range of service areas in Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County and Southern California. There are some areas that we don't service at this moment. For More Information, Please Call Us at:714-726-5655 or Contact Us Here.
We are certified by National Comfort Institute (NCI) a leading company for HVAC performance
testing, air balancing and energy saving. All projects are performed by National
Comfort Institute (NCI) certified technicians. For HVAC performance Pre-Test & Final
test (Test-In & Test-Out) all the data and testing result will be entered into database
software for final Performance test calculation and result. In addition, final result
will be compared to manufacturer equipment data sheet and designed plan. Finally
System Performance Test Result will be reviewed and approved by NCI test and balance
Whole house fan solution is the method to provide FREE NATURAL COOLING for your house.
It pulls air from outside of the building and forces it into the attic space. Then
it will create positive pressure inside the attic and forcing air out through the
gable and vent openings, also it creates negative pressure inside the living areas
which causes to draw air into the building through open windows.
Whole house fans can save you up to 75% off your air conditioning bill. Installing
whole house fans in your house will increase the value of your house market, by providing
an energy-efficient cooling option.
Saves you Energy and money (There is no need to run your air conditioning when outside
air is cooler than inside air)
Accelerates the natural cooling effect by pulling cooler air from outside into the
building and flush the hot air out.
Creates a healthier life in your home by ventilating bacteria, air pollutants, odors,
carbon monoxide and other harmful particles from your house.
